Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Starr Regional Medical Center. This is a permanent, PRN position in our Skilled Nursing Department.

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and establishing plans of care. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition
• Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment
• Documents patient care given
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family

• Associate's degree in Nursing: Preferred X Required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing: X Preferred □ Required
• Current RN License in the State of TN or another compact state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must achieve a passing score of 85% on the Medication Administration Exam

• Competitive Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
