Key Responsibilities
  • Triage new referrals to ensure timely and effective connection with the correct specialty provider.
  • Provide personalized education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their spine and pain journey.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary health team members.
  • Focus on delivering an exceptional patient experience, meeting the unique needs of each individual while striving for efficiencies in patient care and flow.
  • Ensure follow-up with appropriate resources and services, promoting a smooth and effective care pathway.
  • Collaborate closely with providers as the primary patient liaison, supporting the physician-patient relationship and fostering a culture of compassion and care.
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, and identification of areas for improvement, driving continuous quality enhancement.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong background in nursing and patient care.
  • Preferred experience in spine and pain care, with a focus on patient navigation and advocacy.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Preferred certifications include BLS and ACLS, with a focus on pain management and patient safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
