Ajinomoto Foods North America is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished products within our manufacturing plant.

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, trailers, and other equipment with raw materials and finished products.
• Inventory Management: Count, check weight, and inspect goods for damage before accepting and recording them in our inventory system.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Deliver raw materials to production lines, stage products, and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production demands.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Perform daily tasks to ensure a clean and organized warehouse, including checking cooler and freezer temperatures, cleaning equipment, and sweeping assigned areas.
• Quality Control: Rotate stock to ensure oldest products are consumed first and perform physical inventory checks to maintain accurate records.
• Team Collaboration: Assist other material handlers and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily equipment checks to ensure safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications: Forklift operator certification required.
• Experience: Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Skills: Basic computer/data entry skills, math abilities, and good communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal) are essential.

This role operates in a professional office and production environment. The employee will be required to sit or stand, talk or hear, reach, bend, and move about the work environment. The employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and will be exposed to loud industrial environments.
