About the Role

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a skilled RN Nurse Manager to lead our Progressive Care team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and overseeing the daily operations of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care to ensure quality and clinical excellence
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to meet the needs of the unit
Requirements
  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Minimum 2 years current acute care hospital experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a full-time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
