Multimodality Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Mercy. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in the department.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
