About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join our Public Works Department at the Town of Marana, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative and technical support to our Fleet Services Division, ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the division's budget, preparing and processing invoices and purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Assist with new vehicle acquisitions, maintaining files and records retention, and managing fleet software and inventory.
  • Schedule service and repair appointments, recommending repairs and replacements, and assist with accident reporting.
  • Manage fuel cards, reconcile and run reports, and coordinate with vendors, dealers, customers, and other agencies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or training.
  • Over three years of administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Valid Arizona Driver License.
  • Ability to pass both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fleet purchasing, tracking, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Experience with compliance and safety regulations and DOT regulations.
  • Presentation skills to all levels of management.
  • Experience in researching and producing reports.
  • Over 3 years of experience working in municipal government.
