Offshore Superintendent

Job Summary

Gulf Island is seeking an experienced Offshore Superintendent to lead our offshore crew and ensure the successful execution of our projects. As an Offshore Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing project activities, maintaining positive customer relations, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct project activities to ensure timely completion and within budget
• Maintain positive customer relations and ensure open communication
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Lead and motivate the offshore crew to achieve project goals
• Develop and implement project schedules and budgets
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in leading an offshore crew
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid TWIC card
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Ability to pass background check

Desirable Experience, Education, and Training

• Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus
• Experience with OSHA/BSEE regulations for the construction/offshore industry

Tools, Equipment, and Technology

• Office equipment and computer software
• Microsoft Office Suite

Environmental Conditions

80% to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. They may also be exposed to fumes (Paint, paint thinners, diesel or gas, etc.)
