We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Menorah Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.
Key Responsibilities- Review treatment prescriptions from physicians and set up instructions for daily radiation therapy treatments
- Schedule patients for treatment and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide clinical instruction to Radiation Therapist students
- Participate in continuing education programs and assist in departmental quality assurance initiatives
- Maintain current licensure and accreditation in the Radiation Oncology profession
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy or a related field
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- Current Radiation Therapist (T) license from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required within 6 months of hire
- Member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASRT) preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work-related experience required
