Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate ultrasound equipment, perform technical procedures, and provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general ultrasound procedures, including 2D, pulsed wave Doppler, and color flow Doppler evaluations.
  • Review patient requisitions and prioritize patient list based on severity of illness, special procedures, and equipment availability.
  • Develop film by automatic processing and manipulate laser printer and processor to obtain high-quality images.
  • Manage procurement, storage, and routing of supplies for room preparation.
  • Ensure reusable instruments are delivered to the appropriate department for sterilization.
  • Perform routine office tasks as needed at the direction of supervisor based on patient schedule.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Completion of a JRCERT CAHEA accredited ultrasound training program and/or registry eligibility.
  • Current registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); must complete the registry within 1 year of hire date and maintain the certification.
  • CPR Certification.
