Engaging in the mounting and dismounting of tires, conducting flat repairs, and performing thorough inspections. This role is fundamental to our operations and serves as a gateway to various other positions within the organization.

Key Expectations:
Actively engage in training and development initiatives. Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all organizational policies.

Essential Duties:
  • Utilize a balancing machine to assess and determine the necessary counterweights for wheel balancing.
  • Elevate vehicles using hydraulic jacks.
  • Reattach wheels onto vehicles.
  • Identify and seal punctures in tubeless tires by inserting adhesive materials and expanding rubber plugs.

  • Replace valve stems and extract any puncturing objects.
  • Patch over damages in tire casings.
  • Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly through scraping or grinding.
  • Dismount and rotate tires as required.
  • Buff defective areas of inner tubes with scrapers.
  • Recognize tire size and ply, inflating tires to the manufacturer's specified weight.
  • Additional responsibilities may include providing customer courtesy driving, handling phone inquiries, and assisting with product pickup/delivery. May also involve support with alignments and tasks in the Lube area.

Job Knowledge Requirements:
  • Proficient in mounting, dismounting, air pressure checks, balancing, tire rotation, and flat repairs.
  • Ensure lug nuts are secured to the appropriate torque specifications.
  • Conduct inspections of brake pads.
  • Recommend preventative services when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
