About the Job

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a Wind Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbine generator equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Collaborate with the service team to achieve safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance
  • Document all work performed and report any policy or procedure violations
  • Travel to wind sites as required (up to 25%)
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED and Associate Degree in a Technical Mechanical or Wind Energy discipline from an accredited college or wind technical school
  • Ability to climb a 300 feet wind tower multiple times per day
  • Ability to work at heights of up to 300+ feet
  • Ability to meet specific weight requirements of tower ladders under OSHA and/or industry standards
  • Successful completion of climb test(s) and tower rescue training
