Key Responsibilities- Perform assigned nursing procedures, including taking vital signs, collecting and processing specimens for analysis, and assisting physicians with examinations and treatments.
- Observe, record, and report the physical and mental condition of patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans, promoting optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working as an LVN in an acute care setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload and establish effective working relationships across the Health System.
- Current LVN licensure and BLS certification.
- Understanding of JCAHO requirements.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese.
