Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Premier Orthopaedics. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures, maintaining technical competency, and ensuring high-quality images are provided to our healthcare personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.
  • Complete and sign Patient Screening forms, explaining the procedure to patients.
  • Maintain technical competency through continued education and training.
  • Administer contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with facility healthcare personnel and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
  • Provide high-quality images to our healthcare team in the desired format.
  • Perform equipment quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and notify relevant team members.
  • Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment as needed.

Qualifications

  • Radiographer certification (ARRT) required.
  • Minimum two years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Principles and practices of diagnostic radiographic procedures.
  • Basic chemistry, film apparatus, and film processing techniques.
  • Able to lift and position patients for MRI procedures.
  • Attention to detail, with ability to notice differences in shapes and shadings.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and generous paid time off. Estimated salary: $72,500/year.
