Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Associate - Security Specialist to join our team at Burlington. As a key member of our store team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and safe shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas to prevent theft and maintain a secure environment
  • Engage with customers and associates in a professional and friendly manner, promoting a positive shopping experience
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in shortage reduction and customer service
  • Collaborate with store leadership to identify and report theft incidents and suspicious activity
  • Provide support and guidance to associates on shortage reduction programs and processes
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, AP/LP, or Operations
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, visually monitor the store environment, and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a positive demeanor and strong posture
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision-making
