Job Title: Registered Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role:
  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatients, including those in the pediatric and NICU units.
  • Work closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary interdisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives, such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses, on nutrition-related topics.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Eligibility for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
