We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Permanency Worker to join our team at the State of Oregon. As a Permanency Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of Oregon's most vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Well-being: Conduct home visits, assess family dynamics, and develop strategies to ensure child safety and well-being.
- Engagement and Support: Engage with children, families, and resource parents to promote safety, permanency, and optimal outcomes.
- Case Management: Develop and implement multi-level strategies to leverage family strengths and address areas for improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, courts, and community partners, to ensure child safety and compliance with state policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: One year of human services-related experience, or completion of coursework equivalent to certification consistent with Oregon Caseworker Competency.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse populations, and proficiency in technology and data entry.
