Job Description:
The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is committed to providing high-quality education in the field of international law. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching a course on the Law of Armed Conflict, which is an area of public international law that regulates the conduct of armed hostilities.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a course on the Law of Armed Conflict, including its history, principles, and application
- Develop and implement a course syllabus that meets the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the law school's curriculum
Requirements:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- At least five years of practice experience
- Graduate-level teaching experience preferred
