The Case Cart Coordinator PRN plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the Main Operating Room Suites. This position involves the careful assessment, organization, and preparation of case carts essential for surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and allocate necessary supplies for case carts utilized in the Main OR.
- Utilize computer-generated allocations and maintain accurate stock levels and supply lists.
- Ensure the upkeep of Emergency Case Carts for immediate availability.
- Retrieve and reallocate items from Central Sterile Processing for ongoing surgical cases.
- Locate and deliver required items for current and future OR cases.
- Manage the stocking of Main OR cores during day shifts.
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Organizational skills, along with proficiency in telephone and computer usage, are essential. The ability to follow instructions in various formats is also necessary.
