Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medications, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient and family.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
- Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ventilators, UVC, UAC's, PICC, and PIV insertion.
- Knowledge of whole body cooling techniques.
