The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality medical care and treatment to our clients. Under the direction of a physician, this role involves performing history and physical examinations, providing consultation and liaison, and prescribing medications as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and evaluate client data to inform treatment decisions
- Assess and meet the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of clients
- Provide screening and medication management to clients
- Establish priorities in planning and organizing client care
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff to establish realistic outcome goals
- Implement appropriate health care interventions as needed
- Review medical reports and provide guidance to clinical staff
- Prepare discharge summaries for physician review
- Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in prescribing basic psychotropic medications
- Clinical experience working with the client population of the facility
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and DEA license (as required)
- CPR and de-escalation certification
