About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Glasswater Creek of Whitestown. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and comfort to our residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Establish meaningful connections with residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Support residents in preparing for meals, activities, and social programs, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Record and report residents' status and condition to supervising charge nurses, observing and reporting any physical or emotional changes
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans, promoting a resident-centered approach
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of previous long-term care experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current and valid CNA certification
  • Pass a background screening
