About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Service Professional to join our team. This position involves working at various industrial and commercial sites to inspect, test, and maintain BESS inverters.

Your expertise in high-voltage electrical systems and energy storage applications will enable you to identify potential issues and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OEM specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and testing BESS inverters to ensure they meet OEM standards
  • Performing routine maintenance on inverter systems, including troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing corrective actions
  • Collecting and documenting system validation results, including inverter efficiency, output capacity, and voltage measurements
  • Installing, updating, and configuring controls-related firmware and software on inverter systems

To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on experience with BESS inverter technologies, high-voltage electrical systems, and energy storage applications. A strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance is also essential.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Proven experience working with BESS inverters in industrial or commercial energy storage applications
  • Knowledge of high-voltage and direct current (DC) electrical equipment and principles
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to inverter systems
  • A willingness to work a 3-weeks-on/1-week-off schedule and travel regionally for extended periods
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
