Job Summary:
Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist to join our team in Detroit Lakes, MN. This is an outpatient opportunity with a focus on adult psychiatry services.
Practice Details:
The Behavioral Health Department at our clinic includes part-time psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and a psychiatry nurse practitioner. The department does not provide after-hours call coverage to the hospital or ED, and ED and inpatient consultations are limited. The local crises team provides support to ED patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide adult psychiatry services (age 18+) in an outpatient clinic setting
- Conduct nursing home rounds 1-2 times per month
- Outreach opportunities at other Essentia Health clinics within daytime driving distance
- Telemedicine services may be used in the future in the Outpatient Setting
Requirements:
- BC/BE in Psychiatry
- Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area, 1 hour from Fargo and 3 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul
