We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Underwriter specializing in habitational real estate risks. This role involves underwriting for various property types including hotels, motels, apartment complexes, and student housing, focusing on general liability and property casualty lines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development of a balanced and profitable underwriting portfolio.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with wholesale brokers.
  • Evaluate new and renewal policy applications to determine risk acceptance, coverage options, and pricing.
  • Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and evaluating outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the underwriting team to enhance their skills and performance.

In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive compensation package up to $175,000, including a bonus structure, a company-matched 401(K) plan, a pension, comprehensive medical and dental coverage for your family, a fitness club membership, tuition reimbursement, and generous paid vacation time.


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
