We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Flash Markets. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and manage cash refunds and exchanges.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash cans.
- Inventory Management: Check in vendor deliveries, ensure shelves are stocked and rotated, and remove damaged or out-of-code merchandise.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (18 years of age or older in certain states).
- Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
- Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
Flash Markets offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $11 per hour. We also offer opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
