Recreational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at SSM Health Physical Therapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreation activities for patients in accordance with our organization's guidelines.

• Plan and implement recreation activities for patients in accordance with our organization's guidelines
• Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload
• Orient patients to recreation therapy and provide hospital-wide leisure, social, and divergent programs
• Serve as an educator to patients on community resources

• Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required
• Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam required
