Key Responsibilities:- Assist physicians and medical personnel in the examination process, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate patient schedules and provide clerical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
- Perform routine tests, such as audiograms, vision tests, and EKGs, and assist with more complex procedures.
- Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and allergies, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with training and development of other Medical Assistants, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- 2+ years of experience in patient care as a Medical Assistant or 2 years performing electronic order entry with ABR-OE certification.
- Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required upon hire.
- Preferred certifications: Medical Assistant - AMT, Registered Medical Assistant - AAMP, or Certified Medical Assistant - AAMA.
