Job Overview

OBJECTIVE:

The primary role is to support production operations within the facility, ensuring optimal unit performance to produce high-quality goods while adhering to operational protocols and safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting light maintenance tasks such as lubricating pumps, replacing minor filters, repairing small steam leaks and traps, recording utility metrics, analyzing P&IDs and SOPs, inputting quality alert data into the system, and fulfilling additional duties as necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Work a 12-hour rotating shift
  • Availability for overtime as required
  • Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (temperature and humidity)
  • Repetitive task execution
  • Identification of defects and errors
  • Clear and accurate communication
  • Ability to perform under pressure

  • Olfactory sensitivity to chemicals and burning materials
  • Mobility to perform diverse tasks
  • Climbing ladders as needed
  • Ability to turn, twist, and pivot effectively
  • Capability to wear necessary protective equipment
  • Driving various vehicles, including forklifts and trucks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant setting
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift
  • Availability for overtime as necessary
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screening, fitness assessment, and background verification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Process Technology
  • Five or more years of relevant industrial experience
  • Experience with Distributive Control Systems (Board Operator) is advantageous
