Role Summary:

The Senior CT Technologist collaborates closely with the Director and Medical Staff to enhance patient care and operational efficiency by providing guidance, education, and leadership to the technical team.

  • Ensures adherence to CT policies and procedures as dictated by state regulations and departmental standards.
  • Responsible for dose tracking and collaboration with the physicist.
  • Manages supply orders and inventory.
  • Oversees staffing for CT and Radiology during non-peak hours.
  • Facilitates staffing for CT-guided biopsy procedures.
  • Assists the Director in the recruitment of new personnel, serves as a mentor for newly hired staff during their training, conducts educational in-services as required, manages staff schedules, and reviews policies.

Qualifications:

CT Certification in the State of Kentucky

ARRT (CT) Certification

Minimum of 5 years of experience in CT

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory
