Lead Automotive Repair Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automotive Repair Technician to join our team at Avis Budget Group. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs on a wide variety of auto makes and models with no technical supervision.
Job SummaryThis is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking to take their skills to the next level and lead by example in our fast-paced automotive repair environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standard and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles with minimal supervision.
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Act as a technical expert to other technicians in the shop.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in auto repair, including 3 ASE certifications (with the ability to acquire 2 additional within the first year).
- Knowledge of Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance.
- Familiarity with OEM processes and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
