Respiratory Care Practitioner Job Description

Providence Newberg Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform respiratory care services in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and protocols.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
  • Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
