Position Summary:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Experienced Production Test Electrical Assemblers (Level B or Level C) to contribute to the 787 Program in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional assessments of aircraft electrical systems and components, alongside troubleshooting and rectifying system faults.
  • Document and evaluate test data to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Execute intricate assembly tasks on structural components, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems utilizing both manual and automated tools.
  • Identify production challenges and communicate effectively to escalate unresolved issues.
  • Enhance team performance through mentoring and cross-training initiatives.

Work Environment:

This role requires full onsite presence at designated locations.

Compliance Requirements:

Candidates must meet export control compliance standards, necessitating a "U.S. Person" status as defined by relevant regulations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work on a variable shift schedule.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
  • Experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials for at least 1 year.
  • Proficiency in avionics systems troubleshooting and aircraft electrical systems for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Ability to interpret detailed work instructions and technical documents in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional relevant work experience or an equivalent educational background.
  • Familiarity with functional testing of aircraft electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of in-flight entertainment systems testing.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems.
  • Previous involvement with the 787 Program.

Education and Experience:

Associate (Level B): Typically requires a high school diploma/GED and 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experienced (Level C): Typically requires a high school diploma/GED and 4 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
