**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Technology Advisor to join our team at AGCO. As a Regional Technology Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers in the precision agriculture industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install and configure precision planting retrofit components
  • Support OEM installed precision farming components on new equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair precision farming systems
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership's area of responsibility
  • Support sales staff in quoting of precision planting products on new machine quotes
  • Sell and promote precision farming products
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of the dealership
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
  • Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner

**Requirements:**

  • Understanding of precision farming technologies
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four (4) years of apprenticeship experience
