**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Technology Advisor to join our team at AGCO. As a Regional Technology Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers in the precision agriculture industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install and configure precision planting retrofit components
- Support OEM installed precision farming components on new equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair precision farming systems
- Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership's area of responsibility
- Support sales staff in quoting of precision planting products on new machine quotes
- Sell and promote precision farming products
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of the dealership
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
**Requirements:**
- Understanding of precision farming technologies
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four (4) years of apprenticeship experience
