ESL Teacher Opportunity at Conservatory Lab Charter School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESL teacher to join our dynamic team at Conservatory Lab Charter School. As an ESL teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social growth of our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students
  • Co-plan lessons with academic teachers to ensure students receive targeted support
  • Design and implement accommodations to facilitate students' access to grade-level material
  • Provide instruction to promote English language development and literacy skills
  • Consult with academic and music teachers to develop and implement student-centered learning experiences
Requirements:
  • ESL certification
  • 2 years of experience working as an ESL teacher
  • Experience working in an urban environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team
  • Strong oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Reading certification
  • Bilingualism in Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole
