ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) is entrusted with the responsibility to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a specific group of patients throughout their healthcare journey. This role encompasses the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological dimensions of patient care, disease prevention, and health maintenance. The RN plays a vital role in fulfilling the mission and core values of Unavailable.
- Adhere to the nursing process, which involves: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This process is continuous and may conclude at any stage.
- Assessment - Employ a systematic and dynamic approach to gather and analyze comprehensive patient data, including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
Must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
Possession of an active RN license in the relevant state or nurse licensure compact.
Basic life support certification is mandatory upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies include the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required, along with PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within five months of employment.
