Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The Echocardiographer will be responsible for:
  • Performing Transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Assisting with Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
  • Setting up and conducting exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms under supervision.

This role requires adherence to the standards established by the American Society of Echocardiography and Froedtert Hospital. The individual will demonstrate increasing proficiency in providing care primarily to an adult patient population.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
  • A two-year Allied Health degree with successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP accredited program in Ultrasound Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in cardiac ultrasound (RDCS or RCS).

Preferred Experience:
Previous healthcare experience such as CNA, EMT, or PCA is advantageous.
