Pediatric Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton, based in Austin, Texas. As a pediatric nurse, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where you can grow your career while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and families.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, providing timely updates to physicians and caregivers.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or a bachelors level degree not in nursing, with active RN License and enrollment in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year completed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RN with at least 2 years hospital experience or 4 years preferred.
  • BSN preferred.
  • PICU or pediatric med/surg experience preferred, or adult pulmonary current experience as a substitute.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
