Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Per Diem Occupational Health Registered Nurse (OHN) in Kansas City, KS. As a key member of our Health Services team, you will provide emergency care, first aid, and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
  • Perform and evaluate various clinical and diagnostic tests
  • Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures
  • Interview and document medical history of employees
  • Work effectively with the Health Services team and other departments
  • Maintain appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform and document physical exams
  • Adhere to common practices and procedures throughout the department
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Assist with the promotion of plant wellness programs
  • Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
Requirements
  • RN Diploma/Associate degree required, BSN or BS preferred
  • Valid RN license in the state
  • Two or more years' nursing experience preferred, ER or Occupational Health preferred
  • COHN certification preferred
