• Bar Service Associate: Cultivate a hospitable environment for patrons. Responsible for preparing and selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly attitude.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
• Craft cocktails by mixing various ingredients.
• Set up promotional displays or arrange products to enhance sales.
• Restock and replenish supplies on counters or tables.
• Address customer inquiries regarding product location, pricing, and usage.
• Calculate total costs and taxes for customer purchases.
• Process payments and provide change. Package items for customers.
• Record cash amounts in the register at the end of each shift.
• Apply discounts to sales to determine final pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the service area.
• Monitor for safety or security concerns and report to management.
• Verify customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchases.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages to customers.
• Comply with state liquor regulations and company policies regarding alcohol service.
• Identify and report any signs of customer impairment, refraining from serving them.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
• Effective communication skills with diverse individuals.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly, especially during peak times.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal abilities.
• Accurate cash handling and mathematical skills.
• Completion of Safe Beverage Service and Food Handlers training is necessary, along with meeting age requirements for alcohol service.
• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Work Environment:

This role is situated within a cinema and dining environment, which may have limited lighting and a flow of guests. The pace can be brisk, yet it is essential to maintain a welcoming demeanor while serving our patrons. This position is highly active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day. Candidates should be capable of frequently lifting and moving items weighing at least 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or G.E.D. is required, or current enrollment in a relevant program.

Prior experience in retail, dining, or customer service is preferred.
