Polysomnography Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health in College Station, Texas.

The successful candidate will monitor patients' sleep for diagnostic testing of sleep-related disorders and perform therapeutic polysomnographic procedures. They will be responsible for scoring studies and formulating reports for physician interpretation, documenting patient events, and communicating results to patients, physicians, and family members.

• Perform polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations.
• Score studies and formulate reports for physician interpretation.
• Document all pertinent patient events according to department policy.
• Communicate instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong understanding of polysomnographic care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications. They must also possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain and troubleshoot audio and video equipment. A General knowledge of Polysomnographic Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications is required.
