Job Summary

A skilled Radiologic Technologist is needed to work in a clinical setting, utilizing radiologic equipment and fluoroscopy technology to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and clinicians to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist physicians with patient positioning and C-arm operation.
  2. Operate radiology equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  3. Perform high-quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients, updating patient logs as necessary.
  4. Monitor patient well-being during exams, recognizing discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.
  5. Position patients safely and set equipment controls to optimize exposure factors.
  6. Minimize radiation exposure to patients using state-mandated techniques.
  7. Communicate with patients throughout the exam process, addressing questions and concerns.
  8. Maintain a clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
  9. Review and evaluate images to ensure diagnostic quality.
  10. Document patient services in accordance with office standard procedures.
