Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a talented and seasoned photographer and photo editor to enhance our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and a robust portfolio showcasing exceptional work, approaching each project with enthusiasm and a positive mindset. Proficiency in both studio and outdoor photography, as well as experience in product and event photography, is essential. Expertise in Adobe Photoshop is a must, along with familiarity in various photography and editing techniques, including compositing and stop motion. Knowledge of the Sony camera family is advantageous. The successful applicant will be tasked with producing visually striking and engaging photography that captivates our audience while generating fresh and innovative ideas that align with our brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to grasp project goals and requirements.
- Conceptualize, capture, and edit high-quality photographic content that fulfills project specifications.
- Utilize diverse photography and editing techniques, including compositing.
- Develop creative concepts for video initiatives, integrating graphics and special effects as needed.
- Create and incorporate motion graphics into video content when required.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in photography production and editing.
- Manage and organize the photography content library.
- Continuously enhance video production quality by exploring various techniques and approaches.
- Maintain and care for cameras, lenses, lighting, and other studio equipment.
Qualifications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional photography skills.
- Experience in product and studio photography.
- Familiarity with the Sony camera family.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of lighting and staging techniques.
- Expertise in photo editing techniques, including retouching and compositing.
- Experience in creating motion-based photography, such as stop motion or GIFs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
