Senior Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Jevco Electrical Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical installations, providing guidance to apprentices, and ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise electrical installations and provide guidance to apprentices
• Upgrade systems, execute installations, and maintenance and repair of existing electrical systems
• Trouble shoot and identify electrical issues
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience
• Proficiency in bending and installing EMT conduit, pulling branch and feeder wire, making up panels, and installing light fixtures
• Able to trouble shoot and understand circuits, dimmer systems, lighting controls, and interpret blueprints
• Strong leadership skills with ability to provide direction and constructive feedback
• Effective time management and adaptation
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable with a commitment to completing projects from start to finish

Estimated Salary: $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location
