Job Overview

KE Camps offers a dynamic summer camp experience for children at country clubs across the nation.

About the Position

As a Camp Counselor, you will contribute to creating a fun and engaging environment for campers, collaborating with the Camp Director to ensure seamless daily operations.

You will foster meaningful connections with campers, encouraging them to explore new interests and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all camp activities and assist with camper supervision
  • Collaborate with the Camp Director to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Help campers develop through character building, experiences, and insights
  • Guarantee the health and well-being of campers at all times
  • Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with children is desired
  • Capacity to sustain energy levels for participation in a full day's worth of activities
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain before the summer begins
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, responsibility, dependability, consistency, level-headedness, flexibility, and calmness in all situations

Location and Schedule:

The camp operates Monday-Friday from June 16 through July 18 at Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland, CA. Staff members are required to be available for the entire camp season.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on location and qualifications)
