We are seeking a proficient Registered Nurse II specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role offers a competitive salary of $38.00/hr and is located in the Houston, TX area. The position is temporary and follows a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care within the clinic setting, supporting various clinical services. Under the supervision of clinic providers, the nurse will:
- Manage post-operative care and facilitate patient discharge.
- Conduct medication reconciliation with patients and deliver discharge instructions to a responsible adult.
- Engage in patient care activities in accordance with center policies and procedures.
- Ensure the discreet and confidential handling of all patient information, maintaining vigilance regarding the sharing of sensitive data.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess an active Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Hold current certifications in CPR, ACLS, or PALS.
- Have a minimum of two years of nursing experience in PACU, SICU, or CV ICU.
- Be a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse or Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse.
