Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electrical systems and equipment in accordance with established safety protocols, ensuring that all safety measures are adhered to by personnel working on the equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, monitor performance, and generate reports on equipment status utilizing both manual and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematic diagrams, to facilitate repairs and maintenance of machinery and structural components.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment proficiently to execute maintenance tasks.
  • Employ troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve quality, process, and electrical issues effectively.
  • Execute all necessary electrical maintenance tasks, including breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace post-maintenance activities, maintaining readiness for audits.
  • Report any unresolved safety, quality, or operational concerns to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EEO guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with PLC systems is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer operations and adept at troubleshooting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
