Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical systems and equipment in accordance with established safety protocols, ensuring that all safety measures are adhered to by personnel working on the equipment.
- Conduct inspections, monitor performance, and generate reports on equipment status utilizing both manual and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematic diagrams, to facilitate repairs and maintenance of machinery and structural components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment proficiently to execute maintenance tasks.
- Employ troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve quality, process, and electrical issues effectively.
- Execute all necessary electrical maintenance tasks, including breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment changeovers.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace post-maintenance activities, maintaining readiness for audits.
- Report any unresolved safety, quality, or operational concerns to management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EEO guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience with PLC systems is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred.
- Proficient in computer operations and adept at troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
