About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Summit, a leading provider of correctional institution dining services. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Maintain high standards of quality and portion control
  • Ensure food is stored properly and handled safely
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet production demands
  • Develop and implement creative food presentation ideas
Requirements
  • At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment
  • Working knowledge of proper culinary methods and techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service experience required
  • Food handlers' certification a plus
