Job Opportunity: Pipe Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at a custom metal fabrication plant in the Coraopolis area. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems of various sizes for gas, water, and air.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate pipe installation.
  • Operate gas cutting torches, grinders, pipe threaders, and welders to fabricate and assemble pipe systems.
  • Use basic math skills and geometry to calculate pipe sizes and configurations.
  • Assemble and install pipe systems, ensuring proper connections and fittings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pipe systems to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience with overhead cranes is required.
  • Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
  • Basic math skills and some geometry.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift 50 pounds.
