About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer II, you will ensure that all quality benchmarks are met for our products and production apparatus. You will engage in the design, construction, and evaluation of our hardware, mechanisms, processes, and equipment.

Your responsibilities will include developing standardized quality acceptance criteria and reviewing procedures and test plans to guarantee compliance with our quality benchmarks.

You will also assist in drafting, reviewing, and assessing in-process rejections, driving resolutions, and implementing corrective measures as necessary. Ultimately, you will collaborate with the technician and inspection workforce during the assembly and testing of our products.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and typically 3 or more years of pertinent experience

Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Familiarity with Quality System requirements and contract quality specifications

Experience in manufacturing and inspection processes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test protocols

Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 standards

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the aerospace and defense sector

Experience with systems engineering or test engineering

Experience in a production environment

Additional Requirements:
Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs

Frequent repetition of hand, arm, and finger motions, including dexterity

Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions:
Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)

Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous materials

Rarely exposed to loud noises

Safety Sensitive Position:
Inspects structures, equipment, or vehicles
