Job Title: Mechanic III

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic III to join our team at The Bergaila Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including centrifugal pumps and electric motors.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including bearing and seal replacements, alignments, couplings, sumps, fans, and drain piping modifications.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators, and reciprocating engines.
  • Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed, including foundation work, initial alignment, testing, and startup.
  • Review procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards, meeting all regulatory agency requirements.
  • Complete records of time and required regulatory reports.
  • Perform remedial and preventative maintenance, maintaining facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.
